Best Guide of my travels! I’m a solo traveler and had a few days in Arcos de Valdevez that I had waited until the last minute to look for guided tours. I couldn’t find any availability for hiking with a guide. My hotel called Bruno, from Montesa. Even though he was in the middle of a guided hike, he responded with options for my very limited time. He offered to take me after a full day of work, for 4 hours(his time off). I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel as well. As far as the experience….I can’t begin to describe how beautiful the varied landscape and scenery was at that time of the day(5-9:30 pm). Bruno took me to few villages, drove through several, and did a couple of hikes to waterfalls and lagoons. Then he drove further into the national park (another hike with old Roman roads and mole makers, waterfalls)….then back via a different route through the mountains with the most incredible views as the sun was setting. All throughout educating me on the local landscape, park, wildlife, history, etc. I can’t say enough about my experience. The effort Bruno went to to make sure I was able to see as much of the area as he could show me in such limited time. He went out of his way, was kind, comfortable, and very attentive, he made my stay here unforgettable. I would definitely recommend as well as contact Bruno again if I have a second opportunity to visit the area!!

Brilliant company for hiking and walking in Spain and Portugal This company is really fantastic and knows the areas around Spain and Portugal very well. Bruno is an outstanding guide and is able to give advice on trails and hiking to everyone’s ability. We as a group have been with his company 3 times and each time has been better than the last time. He is extremely careful, looks after everyone very well and has some wonderful ideas for walks and hikes.

Leave Porto and check out the national park! We drove up from Porto to spend a day hiking in nature in the national Park, and spent the day on the Panera mountain. While this wasn’t a waterfall experience, it was a beautiful mountain hike! We saw free range cows, wild horses, native flowers and plants and so much more. It’s been a long time since I’ve hiked up a mountain, but it was totally worth it! Bruno, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the nature as well as Portuguese history. His wife served a gorgeous, delicious, homemade, authentic Portuguese luncheon. The day was capped off with a visit to Soajo, an ancient town located in the national park that people still live in today. Highly recommend heading out to nature and spending a day or two with Bruno and his company!

Wonderful aquatic hike! We went on a water hike with Bruno today. We are lucky to be the only family with our guide. The place is absolutely magnificent, a true natural paradise. We wandered throughout the river, enjoying some natural jumps and slides. Several lagoons allowed for refreshing swims (wetsuits and slippers provided). Bruno was very attentive to our family, vigilant so that no one got hurt, and always gave good advice. We really had a fantastic time! Thank you also for the photos, for the visiting advice and for the restaurant advice where we enjoyed ourselves after our aquatic hike. You can book with your eyes closed!! Thanks again for everything :)

Great experience It was a great experience. Bruno took into account the elderly and the young people in our company, so it was fun for everyone. It is a beautiful setting and you come to lagoons where no one else goes. Thank you so much for this great reminder
